About Us

Our History

We are a well-established, community private practice serving the York, PA community for over 40 years.

We specialize in caring for local oncology and hematology patients.

Quality Support

Our medical team consists of 8 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners.

We have quality support staff and a well-equipped, recently remodeled 18,000 square foot office with 33 chemo infusion chairs.

Improving Lives

We utilize a team approach and coordinate with other specialists in the treatment and care of patients with cancer and blood diseases.

Meet the Staff!

Tina Patterson

Tina Patterson is our Physician Assistant who joined our practice in April, 2010. She received her BS in Social Biology in 1997 from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA and her Physician Assistant degree in 2000 from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. Tina is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Tina has extensive experience in Hematology/Oncology specialty practice.

2021 Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) Innovator

Cancer Care Associates of York received an ACCC Award for our risk assessment and palliative care initiatives. The ACCC Innovator Awards, in the 11th year, recognize creative ideas and compelling solutions in oncology from all over the country that emphasize the goals of improving access, quality, and value in cancer care.

Oncology Care Model (OCM)

Our practice was featured for a CMS Learning Event about palliative care and earned the largest performance incentive in our history with OCM.

Quality Cancer Care Alliance (QCCA) Membership

Cancer Care Associates of York obtained membership with Quality Cancer Care Alliance (QCCA), a network of community oncology practices committed to improving the quality of service by sharing the best practices within cancer care.

National Community Oncology Dispensing Association (NCODA) Recognition

Our practice was recognized as “Practice in Focus” with the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association, a grassroots, not-for-profit organization whose vision is to support and strengthen oncology practices with medically integrated dispensing (MID) services.
